Business Development Executive

Job description

The Online Service Line is a new focus in Arkadin's organization to maintain & develop our market share into the small revenue segment. The Online Service Line is going to be an autonomous business managing end-to-end customer lifecycle by offering simple, self-service, automated and best value for money solutions to our clients.

The Business Development Executive is remotely responsible for increasing Arkadin's market share by selling our online solutions into small & medium sized businesses. This consists of focusing on new business development and cross selling within an existing customer base.

Key activities & Tasks

    -Drive new business revenue by prospecting into small & medium sized companies
    -Follow up on inbound leads and inquiries from prospects and existing customers
    -Partner with marketing to target specific verticals and job functions
    -Cross sell Arkadin online's services into existing customer base
    -Maintain a consistent high level of prospecting activity in order to ensure daily, weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met and/or exceeded
    -Add prospects and opportunities identified through research, calls and emails
    -Build and maintain a robust pipeline of business to close
    -Independently manage the entire sales process from initiation, close and on-boarding
    -Negotiate contractual terms with prospects and clients
    -Working closely with Online Customer Success Executive/Premium BDM team on potential Cross-sell opportunities within existing online customer base.
    -Maintain accurate pipeline and records within
    -Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly revenue and new business development
    -Have a complete understanding of Arkadin Online 's solution offerings with the ability to communicate them effectively
    -Be an expert in Arkadin Online's products, solutions, policies and procedures
    -Create client presentations, proposals and client reports
    -Conduct remote presentations and demonstrations
    -Report weekly and monthly productivity to manager

    -Exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets
    -Maintain a high level of new business productivity through acquisition of new clients
    -Generate new/additional revenue streams within existing accounts
    -Creation of pipeline and opportunities
    -Establish new opportunities within existing base accounts
    -Exceed activity KPI's on a monthly basis
    -Management of the sales process, complete understanding of the business, buying and decision-making process of prospects
    -Management is well informed of short and medium term revenue forecasts
    -The Business Development Executive is an expert on Arkadin online's products, solutions, policies and procedures has up to date information
